EAA Chapter Meeting this Tuesday 6:30 pm
I will have the coffee brewing around 6:15.
Our Chapter Meetings:
* Second Tuesday of each month
* Our meeting will be at Hangar 8 (the Chapter hangar) at the Massena Airport KMSS
* If you have difficulty entering the airport to attend, Please call Rich Olson at 518-669-2169 and we will get you in.
EAA August meeting
We met at our chapter hangar and had some interesting discussions about direction for our Chapter. Jeff and Jen were unable to attend so no decisions were made, but discussion was active.
In an attempt to make our monthly meetings more interesting and enjoyable for our members, we will send out a list of options to members to develop a soft structure for our monthly meeting, and ask each member to return the questionnaire for consolidation so each members thoughts and desires can be known. This list will be sent out in a separate future mailing.
We had visitors at our August meeting. Chris Wilson joined us with his wife (also Chris). They own a Mooney and have a T-18 project hey are working on. They have been active in their local EAA Chapter in CT but anticipate spending more time near Malone in the future and wanted to find out more about Chapter 500. They contributed to our discussions and told of their CT Chapters re-focus and involvement with Young Eagles . We appreciated their input and hope they will visit again.
After the sit down part of our meeting we wandered down to Al’s hangar to see the progress he’s making with his ultra lite rebuild projects. One of his CGS Hawks is really starting to look like an airplane and he has been actively working on his project .
