The Ray Aviation Scholarship is funded by the Ray Foundation, managed by EAA and awarded through chapters. It pays for flight training toward a Private or Sport Pilot certificate for candidates aged 16 to 19 (15 to 19 for a Glider certificate), and the chapter mentors each recipient through training.
