EAA Chapter 309 is the Experimental Aircraft Association chapter for the Charlotte and Lake Norman area of North Carolina. Pilots, builders, restorers and people who simply like airplanes are all welcome, and about half of our members do not fly.

What happens each month:
- Build night, Tuesdays from 5:00 pm, at the chapter project hangar at Lake Norman Airpark (LKN), 114 Amelia Lane, Mooresville
- VMC and IMC Club pilot proficiency night, first Tuesday of the month, 6:30 pm, same hangar
- Monthly dinner gathering, third Monday of the month, 6:30 pm, El Toro Mexican Grill, 20930 Torrence Chapel Rd, Cornelius, NC 28031
- Young Eagles rally, third Saturday of most months, 9:00 am to noon, Lincolnton-Lincoln County Regional Airport (KIPJ), 714 Jack Dellinger Rd, Iron Station, NC 28080
- Board meeting, first Monday of the month; members are welcome to sit in
