Joining EAA Chapter 211
Please don’t feel intimidated. Most members are pilots, but you don’t have to be a pilot to be welcome here…just being an aviation enthusiast is enough!
Most of our regular meetings occur on the first Friday evening of each month. Once or twice a year we may have a Saturday event, either in place of, or in addition to, our regular Friday evening meeting.
Some months we will have a cookout before the meeting. Some months we will have meetings at Ottawa Executive Airport. Sometimes we have project visits to other locations in the general area. We try mix it up and do a variety of things to “keep it fresh.”
Membership Levels – Annual Dues
We offer three paid membership levels, and free memberships to students under 20 years old. We try to make membership as affordable as possible, meaning you can join at the Wingman level for only $25. But we know that some are able and very willing to help the chapter out more, so we offer the Airman and Ace levels, and throw in a few little perks to sweeten the deal a bit.
Ace $100 - All the benefits of the Airman level, plus you will receive a special EAA Chapter 211 ball cap without the button on top, so you can comfortably wear it with your headset.
Airman $50 - All the benefits of the Wingman level, plus you will receive a free Official Membership Roster and an upgraded name tag that attaches by magnet instead of pin-on.
Wingman $25 - Free newsletters by email, access to all regular events, pin-on name badge, and voting rights.
Student $0 - (19 and under) free newsletters by email and access to all events, but no voting rights.
