September 26, 2026 - Young Eagle Rally/Bill Yates Memorial
We are excited and ramping up to host our first Young Eagles Rally held at Beeville Airport on Saturday, September 26th. The Young Rally will be held in the morning followed by a free and fun memorial honoring the life Bill Yates. Please come back and check out our EAA Facebook Page for more info!

July 16, 2026 - Speaker Cynthia Peacock
A big thank you to Cynthia Peacock for speaking to our chapter about the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) and the incredible impact it has on our community. We enjoyed learning more about CAP’s support of EAA, its commitment to aviation, and the many opportunities it provides to inspire and educate the next generation of aviation enthusiasts. Thank you, Cynthia, for sharing your time and knowledge with us!
May 16, 2026 - Build Day
What a great EAA Build Day! We had a wonderful turnout and loved seeing so many kids and families jump in, learn, ask questions, and get hands-on with aviation. We had an amazing group of people who volunteered to help teahc and insprire the next generation of builders, makers, and flyers. Days like this are exactly what EAA is all about.
May 2, 2026 - Kenedy Market Day
We had a great time representing our EAA chapter at the Kenedy Market Day at Joe GUlley Park! A big thank-you to everyone who helped with the booth, stopped by to visit, asked questions, and supported our chapter. It was a fun day of sharing our love of aviation with the community — and we’re look forward to our next event.
April 22, 2026 - EAA Room at Kenedy Airport
Our chapter recently had the pleasure of meeting with Victoria Medina, Director, and Rose Funke, Board Member, of Grace Community School in Runge, TX. Starting this fall, their program will include Pre-K and Kindergarten, and we’re excited about the possibilities ahead. Travel will be part of their curriculum—and we’re already looking forward to welcoming their students for a future field trip.
September 27, 2025 - Karnes County Resource Fair at the Karnes County Youth Show Barn
Gideon's Airforce participated in the Karnes County Resource Fair with an exhibit showcasing their projects including: information on RV-12 building, Drone Building, Remote Controlled Air Planes, Pedal Plane Building and Rocketry.
