Gideons Air Force is committed to aviation education, and its outreach extends to hands-on programs, workshops, and resources that help future aviators develop essential skills. Gideons Air Force was founded by Bruce Webber, a retired JetBlue Airlines captain, and David Purser, a former Karnes City ISD high school teacher. They strongly encourage youth who are interested in aviation, to join EAA where they can learn new skills, seek professional advice from expert mentors, and take advantage of EAA benefits.
Tax Exempt Status: Gideon’s Air Force is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is tax exempt and qualified to receive tax deductible gifts.
