🏆We celebrated Doc Rose's achievement of the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award in grand style!🏆

To be eligible, the candidate must have 50 or more years of military and/or civilian piloting experience. "Doc" Rose earned his initial license in 1959 and served as an Army aviator. Today, you can see him take to the skies in his beautiful yellow and blue Stearman. Congratulations to Doc Jim Rose!

What a wonderful celebration! A big thank you to Wes and Merideth Perkins for the hangar, all the Benkers for fabulous BBQ, and our EAA family who pulled it all together. It was so special that Jim's family and friends were here too, and we got to hear a few tidbits from them and from our Master Pilot Doc Rose himself. Here are some pictures to enjoy!
