This is still accessed through the airport - Hangar is on the north end of the airport - see the ap below. X marks the spot. Your GPS will try to bring you through the Windemere Oaks neighborhood, which is gated. Come through the airport instead.

There will be alternatives for those who prefer something else.
You will have the opportunity to mingle with your fellow aviation enthusiasts.
What to bring:
- Folding chair
- A dessert to accompany the provided lunch.
Alternatively, we're happy to accept donations to help keep the tasty food coming
Presentation for this meeting: We'll be talking about USAF air rescue operations during the cold war, with some beautiful vintage color photographs from the era.
Plus, we're going to discuss the big news about the fact that the FAA has finalized its long-awaited Moderniation of Special Airworthiness Certification (MOSAIC) rule, implementing broad changes to the light sport aircraft (LSA) category and sport pilot privileges. This rule greatly expands the aircraft which can be flown in the LSA category.
This meeting will mark our return to monthly meetings occurring on the first Saturday of each month.
Other topics will include volunteering for various chapter-related functions related to maintaining and reinvigorating our chapter, plus we want input fro you - we want to hear all about your flying adventures, whether they were great or turned out to be "learning experiences", so to speak! And also we would like to hear your ideas for activities for our chapter.
We look forward to seeing you there!Blue skies!

Note regarding parking: When you come in to the airport you will be on an active taxiway, so be sure to yield to any aircraft. If this is the case, pull off the taxiway next to a hanger if need be and be sure your vehicle is between the yellow line painted on the pavement and the hangar itself. This provides clearance for the wing of the taxiing aircraft.
Depending on attendance, we may have parking attendants to assist you and possibly provide shuttle service from a designated parking area. Also, use caution when entering the airport gate from county road 414 - traffic coming from the east does not stop!
