eeting on Saturday, April 12, at 10:00am: High-performance aircraft maneuvers

The Chapter 145 monthly meeting is held on the second Saturday of the month in the big hangar at 08C. Our presenter this meeting is Jeff Ostrander, from Majestic Air at Lowell Airport. We are hoping, weather permitting, that Jeff will bring his Super Decathlon aircraft to Riverview as well as talking about aerobatics, spins, and tailwheel training, all of which Jeff offers at Lowell Airport (24C). This Chapter 145 meeting is also a great chance to socialize and share flying and building stories! We have a great group of pilots, families, students, builders and perhaps new people with an interest in aviation. All are welcome!

Ongoing: VMC Club

VMC Club meets the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the lobby of Riverview airport (08C). 

The VMC Club offers monthly meetings in which pilots can network and share knowledge and experience. The meetings use real-world scenarios to engage members, and allow a free exchange of information that improves awareness and skills. The intent is to create a community of pilots willing to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety, and build proficiency.

All EAA members are automatically eligible to take part in VMC (and their instrument counterparts, IMC Club) programs in their local chapters.
