Our goal is to have fun and learn.
Our members are always willing to help one another and the collective knowledge and experience is broad.
Besides participating in local fly-ins, our monthly meetings are fun and educational.
Past gatherings have included...
- A guest speaker who flew-in to present his finished build project, a Velocity with a corvette engine in it.
- A five-airport Poker Run to nearby airports.
- Helping to pre-inspect a member's Rans S21 build by placing Post-It notes on it to identify issues needing to be addressed.
- A 'parachute-man' drop (closest to the wind sock) and precision spot-landing competition.
- A chili cook-off and... lots of birthday cakes and cookies!
- A Total Solar Eclipse cookout and watch party.
- A meet up at OshKosh AirVenture to dine together.
