Monthly Meetings are the third Thursday of each month (excluding December and July).
Next meeting: Thursday, May 15th, 2025, 5-8 p.m. Piqua-Hartzell Airport (I17), main Hartzell hangar (shown below).
Weather permitting, our next meeting is our annual 'Poker Run'. You'll fly to KVES / KCQA / KAXV / KSCA and back to I17, pick up an envelope from the EAA1335 boxes. Each envelope contains a playing card. Best hand wins. Those spending gas money to fly are able to buy the cards for $5/card, all others may purchase cards at I17 for $10/card. Those who flew are able to discard and purchase up to three cards for $5/card. Best hand wins the 50% of the pot. The other 50% goes to the chapter treasury for reinvestment into club activities.
Allow 60-70 total minutes of flight time. Plan to be done flying and back in the Hartzell hangar no later than 7:00p sharp. We will meet, eat and determine the winner.
