Aviation Youth Camp - 2026

Our camper roster is complete, and we are excited to welcome a new group of young aviation enthusiasts for a memorable week of discovery, hands-on learning, and flight.
Campers will explore the world of aviation through real aircraft, interactive activities, aviation professionals, and experiences designed to spark curiosity and confidence.

Time: 9:00 AM-4:00 PM Daily
Age Group: Entering grades 7-9

Thank you to every family who expressed interest in this year's camp. We are grateful for the enthusiastic response and look forward to sharing an inspiring week with our 2026 campers.
Registered families will receive final arrival information, daily reminders, and other camp details directly from the camp team.
What Campers Will Experience
- Interactive classes covering aerodynamics, aircraft construction, and aviation weather
- Behind-the-scenes visits to aviation organizations including the Prairie Aviation Museum

Tours of local airport facilities and aviation operations, subject to schedule and availability:
- Programs visited in past camps have included the OSF Life Flight helicopter program
- Past tours have included Synergy Flight Center and its maintenance, charter, and flight school operations
- Hands-on flight simulation activities
- An actual flight in an airplane through the EAA Young Eagles program, weather permitting

Participant Information:
- Campers are entering grades 7-9
- Activities include classroom learning, walking tours, and group experiences
- Families should watch for direct communication about arrival, clothing, meals, and daily schedules
Program Cost: $300
The program fee helps cover meals, materials, transportation, and facility expenses.

All available spaces for the 2026 Aviation Youth Camp have been filled, and registration is now closed.
We appreciate the wonderful response from our community and look forward to hosting this year's campers from June 22 through June 26.
