Flight Safety
During our February meeting, Chapter 1218 flight advisor, Ron Hook gave a talk on safety. In his presentation, Ron talked about the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning in the cockpit. Ron described the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning as: foggy thinking, drowsiness, headache, nausea and vision changes. Ron talked about the importance of having a good carbon monoxide detector in the plane. Ron suggests the CO-EXPERTS 2015 by Aeromedix.
