Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award:
The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award is the most prestigious award the FAA issues to pilots. This award is named after the Wright Brothers, the first pilots, to recognize individuals who have exhibited professionalism, skill, and aviation expertise for at least 50 years while piloting aircraft as “Master Pilots”.

Charles E. Taylor Master Mechanic Award:
Named after the Wright brothers' mechanic—the man credited with designing and building the engine for their first successful aircraft—this award recognizes senior mechanics for their lifetime accomplishments. To qualify for this prestigious honor, nominees must meet the following criteria: have 50 or more years of civil and military maintenance experience. (Up to 20 years can be U.S. military experience.), have at least 30 years as an FAA-certificated mechanic or repairman, and be a U.S. citizen.
