EAA Chapter 1044

Mogollon Airpark (AZ82) - Overgaard, AZ

About Us

EAA’s local chapters are about people, bringing together individuals interested in learning more about aviation as well as sharing their own knowledge.

Chapter members are involved in a variety of social and educational activities, including Young Eagles rallies, fly-ins, building seminars, and more, to build awareness in the community.

EAA Chapter 1044 is based at Mogollon Airpark (AZ82) located in the magnificent White Mountains of Eastern Arizona in Overgaard at approximately 6650' msl. The Chapter has a very active homebuilder community with about a dozen aircraft in various stages of construction or refurbishment... everything from Experimental Super Cubs to Bearhawks to RVs to Rans.

The Chapter schedules frequent breakfast fly-outs to nearby airports and several extended trips throughout the year. Events, including monthly Chapter meetings, can be found on the Events Calendar page on this Web site. The Chapter's premier event is its Annual Pancake Breakfast & Fly-In held late summer each year.  As always, everyone is invited and welcome to attend any of our meetings, fly-outs or events.
