We've officially completed our Getaway excursions for the year, and it's time to ponder what's on the horizon. Where would you like to go in 2023? Please remember the basic ground rules:
- Getaways trips are designed with the nonpilot "right-seater" in mind. So, while going to an aviation museum might be fascinating to pilots, it may not be the best choice of a destination.
- Wherever we go, we should spend more time on the ground than in the air getting there!
- The idea is to promote the possibilities of GA travel to folks who are not already addicted to flying small planes (i.e., someone other than you and me).
Generally, we conduct four to five Getaway excursions throughout the year. They could be anywhere from one-and-a-half to five days long. And, while there are many, many possibilities, just send me a few that you would enjoy. I'll collect the inputs and make some selectionsPlease send your reply directly to my email address @ fcalbrightAZ@gmail.com.
