The First Warbird Event of 2026!
Happy New Year! Squadron 24 holds the New Year Warbird Fly-In and its first meeting of the year on Saturday, January 24, 2026 concurrent with the Lakeland Pigfest on the Sun 'n Fun Campus. All warbirds and those with an interest in warbirds are welcome
The Squadron meeting will be held at the EAA Warbirds of America Building at KLAL. The meeting will start at 10:00 AM.
Coffee and donuts will be available for early birds.
Pigfest
The Fly-In will take palce concurrently with the very popular Lakeland Pigfest. Admission to Lakeland Pigfest is just $5 and kids 12 years and younger can enter for free. The good eatin’ won’t cost you much and is well worth the value.
Stop by a Pig Bucks booth (located near the entrance and various locations throughout) and exchange your cash for Pig Bucks, the official currency of the Lakeland Pigfest. By purchasing food from competition teams, you are supporting their efforts and local charities.
