The shed will be loaded with bikes of all sizes along with a air pump and tools to adjust seats or minor adjustments. A call to Gene or Roger will get you the combination to the lock. We consider helmets a personal item so please bring one along. We would like you to sign the log book and make comments on how you enjoyed the ride and what we can do to improve our operation.
The Slatington Airport is sandwiched between the Lehigh River and a well-traveled walking and bike path. This makes it an ideal location to fly in to camp, fish, and explore the area on bikes. For these reasons EAA chapter 855 and Roger Sell the owner have taken on projects to provide facilities which will enable fly-in aircraft to do just that. At this time the bike shed is completed and stocked with both children and adult bikes. The area maps show layout for the trail and locations of places of interest. It is our hope to make flying a fun experience so there is no charge for the use of these facilities. If what we are offering is of interest to you please come and try us out.
