Young Eagles pilots, ground registration, and ramp safety volunteers are not compensated or reimbursed for any Young Eagles event. To that end, each volunteer gives their time, aircraft and fuel expense so girls and boys can experience the joys of flight.
Young Eagle Flights are given at the Aurora Municipal Airport at the base of the control tower from 9:00 AM (Weather Permitting) for children ages 8 through 17. EAA Chapter 579 reserves the right to cancel any Young Eagles flight or event.
