Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our chapter.
We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like-minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community, and have a lot of fun doing so. If you are not yet a member, please feel free to join us at our next meeting or event as a guest.
Meetings
**** Please note: there is NO meeting in December 2024 due to the holidays. See you again in January! ****
Our meetings are normally held the third Tuesday of the month in the chapter clubhouse hangar 11 at Brennand Airport unless otherwise noted. We sometimes meet at other locations or skip a month, so please check our event calendar and Facebook page for the latest updates. Members will receive e-mail announcements about meetings.
Build Team
Interested in a hands-on aircraft building project? Our chapter is currently building a Murphy Rebel kitplane, and you can get involved! Our Build Team members have a wide range of aircraft building skills. We have team mentors who can help new builders and provide educational opportunities for youth team members. Build Team members must be an EAA member and an EAA Chapter 41 member. Contact our chapter president for more information.
Young Eagle Rides
EAA Chapter 41's Young Eagle Rides are free introductory airplane rides for youth ages 8-17. Volunteer pilots give the Young Eagle the opportunity to learn more about aviation and aircraft through a short flight around the local area. Our chapter hosts scheduled Young Eagles events throughout the spring, summer, and fall. Please visit www.yeday.org to see a listing of upcoming Young Eagles events. Parent or guardian permission is required. Pre-registration is strongly recommended but not required. You can also stay informed about our upcoming Young Eagles events by visiting our calendar and Facebook page, and subscribing to our newsletter.
Brennand Airport Fly-In
The 2025 date is to be determined. This annual fly-in event in August is our chapter's main fundraising event. Proceeds also help support the Fox Cities Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). The public is welcome to join us in celebrating aviation by driving or flying in. Admission and parking are free. It's a family-friendly event with airplane rides for sale, aircraft and vehicles on display, flight simulators, food and beverages, music, great raffle prizes, and more.
