Vice President - Bob Henkes

Bob is an insurance agent for Quality Insurance Service in St Paul and has been licensed for 35 years.

He grew up in Racine WI and moved to MN on a job transfer when he worked as an executive for the Boy Scouts of America.

He started his interests in aviation at the age of 12 after visiting his brother who was stationed at Fairchild Air Force base in Spokane. He joined Aviation Explorers shortly after that and has been involved with them in one way or another ever since.  He was even their national chairman. He stated attending AirVenture when he was 14 and has attended over 21 times.  He soloed at 14 at an Explorer program at Edward's Air Force base and obtained his private license and is a graduate from the University of North Dakota's aviation program.

Bob has been a registered member of the Boy Scouts for 49 years and is 3 beaded Wood Badger and Silver Beaver recipient. He obtained his food manager license to help run the Kiwanis Malt Shop at the state fair and keeps that license today to help our chapter food operations and at his church.

Other past times include camping, hunting, fishing and safety team for auto racing.

Treasurer - Mark Heule

Mark is a Veterinarian who has been retired since late 2021.He and his wife owned the Veterinary Center on Main in Osseo for 27years.
Mark joined EAA and the Chapter in 1989 after a spontaneous flight in an Ercoupe given by Chapter member Dick McKenney. He earned his PP certificate in 2011 and LSRM A certificate in 2022.
Mark became Treasurer in 2012 with the checkbook, credit card and a few bank statements handed to him. He keeps the Chapters fillings with the IRS and MN SOS current and keeps a ledger of Chapter transactions, makes bank deposits, and makes sure the bills are paid. He also checks for mail twice a week.
Vision for EAA237's future: To have a Build-a-Plane program and a hangar to build airplanes and teach young people about aviation.


Board Member - Michael Grzincich

Michael is a Cybersecurity and Networking faculty member at Anoka-Ramsey Community College and co-runs an IT support / MSP company with his wife.  He’s from the Iron Range, moved to the Twin Cities after high school, pursued a number of careers before going back to school and earning his degrees.

He’s been a member of EAA237 for since about 2012 and is active in the Young Eagles program flying his Cessna 172.  Michael joined our Board shortly after becoming our Young Eagles Coordinator.

Vision for EAA237’s future:  Expand community and youth outreach to engage our neighbors in the power and freedom of aviation.
