Aero Fair - Aviation and flying for education and fun!
We're making plans for this year's big summer event - Aero Fair 2026 on Sunday, June 7th from 10 AM to 3 PM.
It's our annual community event for the public, held at the FPA hangar at Fitchburg Airport. It's your opportunity to "get inside the fence" ... a way for you to view static display aircraft, talk to the pilots who fly them, and learn about general aviation at our airport.
Aero Fair events include:
* EAA Young Eagles - flights for kids 8-17 years old for free to encourage their interests in aviation and STEM. (Pre-registration is strongly encouraged! Go to Young Eagles Day to register. Walk-ins accommodated as remaining time slots permit. Parent/Legal Guardian signature is required.)
*airport tours
*static aircraft displays
*Learn to Fly Information
*other aviation attractions inside the hangar
Light snacks and beverages available for purchase.
