Airport:
The chapter operates in the Spencer, Iowa area. Chapter meetings are typically held at the Spencer Municipal Airport (KSPW), where several members also base their aircraft. KSPW features a full-service FBO, flight instruction, and maintenance services. The airport is in Class E airspace and offers a welcoming environment for general aviation pilots. It is also home to the Iowa Lakes Community College Aviation & Airport Management program, which provides hands-on training and education for future aviation professionals. Flying:
Chapter members love to fly, and to introduce others to flying. Chapter members fly a variety of aircraft including some vintage. It is common to find members active with VFR and IFR flying.
