Welcome to Chapter 977 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA)
What follows is a brief summary of our Chapter including our location, board members, and member activities. We hope you like what you see and consider joining us. If you want more information, do not hesitate to contact any of the board members listed at the end of this document.
Who We Are
We hold monthly Chapter meetings which are held on the first Wednesday of each month starting at 7:15PM. At each monthly meeting, we feature a program that is always aviation orientated, informative, and sometimes technical in nature. Visitors are not only welcome, but encouraged. Coffee and sweets are always served at the meetings.
Activities
In addition to monthly meetings, we also have a Fly Out program where members occasionally fly to surrounding destinations. Plus, we always have a large group who fly to Williston every Sunday morning for breakfast. Contact our Fly-Out Coordinator for more information.
We are also active in Young Eagles hosting events during the year when young people are given the chance to experience flight. We have flown local children as well as Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Young Marines, Junior ROTC, etc. To date we have introduced over 3,500 children to flight.
There are also other notable Chapter activities, such as a Memorial Day Picnic & Auction. Our premiere annual Fly In is the “Shamrock Fly In”. This is held on the 3rd Saturday of March each year and features great food, and plenty of visiting aircraft.
The Chapter also has an active base of aircraft owners, builders and restorers. Technical Counselors are available for those who are actively building or restoring an aircraft to assist in their projects.

How to Join Chapter 977
Our chapter dues are $30 per calendar year. Click here to download the Chapter membership application form, or simply stop by at one of our monthly meetings.

EAA Chapter 977 Mission Statement
EAA Chapter 977 is a non-profit organization dedicated to serve all who have an interest in aviation. We foster and encourage individual participation and high standards in all of our activities thereby facilitating access to the world of flight in a friendly and safe manner.
