Founded in 1992, the Young Eagles program is dedicated to giving youth ages 8–17, an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. These flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers.
It’s the only program of its kind, with the sole mission to introduce and inspire kids in the world of aviation.
Today, the Young Eagles program has flown over 2 million kids.

EAA 908 typically organizes 2 young eagles programs per year, one in the fall and one in the spring. However, if you have a large group of youths who would come as a group please contact us and we may be able to arrange a Young Eagle Day just for your group. Please be aware each Young Eagle day is on a first come first serve basis. Our members donate their time, their aircraft and the fuel costs, it takes alot of time and effort to organize, and is also weather dependent.
