Donate to Chapter 81
Donations are always welcome to support our activities. Annual dues payments cover the bare minimum of our fixed annual costs and fund raising involves chapter events and donations. We are a qualified and IRS recognized 501(c)(3) organization incorporated in the state of Arizona. Your contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by IRS regulations. We have received donations of money, aviation related paraphernalia, tools, and airplanes in condition ranging from disassembled up to ready-to-fly.
To donate money to the Chapter, you may do so online by Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or by sending a check made payable to: EAA Chapter 81 and mailing it to: Kevin Byers 3721 W El Moraga Pl Tucson, AZ 85745 Your check should include your email address so that we can contact you to collect your donation details. We need that email address!
To pay by Zelle, send to president81@eaa81.org. This is the preferred method, as the funds go directly to the chapter bank account.
To pay by PayPal or Venmo, send to erikfjer@gmail.com and be sure to specify "friends and family" to avoid transaction fees. Our chapter president, Erik Fjerstad will forward your payments to the chapter bank account on your behalf. Please ensure you put your email address and "Donation" in the comment or "what its for" field as appropriate. We need that email address!
We will acknowledge your donation with information appropriate for use with your tax returns.
