We are more than just a flying club; we are a community of pilots, builders, and families who love aviation. Located at the L45 Bakersfield Municipal Airport EAA Hangar, 2000 S. Union Ave., Chapter 71 is the place to be if you love the sky.
What We Do:
Monthly Pancake Breakfasts: Join us for the best breakfast in town! It’s a tradition for our members and the local community to gather for food, coffee, and plane talk.
Young Eagles Rallies: We are dedicated to the next generation. Through our Young Eagles program, we provide free flights to youth, inspiring them to reach for the stars.
Adventures: We don’t just stay on the ground. Join us for organized fly-ins, group camping trips, and aviation excursions throughout the year.
Building & Safety: innovative projects? We have that too. From homebuilt aircraft to safety seminars, we support every aspect of flight.
Join Us at Our Next Meeting We meet on the second Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm. Come hungry, come curious, and bring the family!
