The intent of IMC VMC Club is to create a community of pilots to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety, and build proficiency. Meetings also provide an environment where participants can network and share knowledge and experience.
IMC Club promotes improved instrument flight skills, proficiency and safety. VMC Club similarly promotes improved visual flight awareness, skills and safety.
IMC VMC Club programming is developed and produced by EAA, but does not use the typical lecture or presentation format. Instead, real-world scenarios are presented followed by a group discussions. Audience participation is encouraged to foster a free exchange of information. Because everyone has different levels of experience as well as aircraft capabilities, all participants benefit from the discussion.
