Harold and Leona Boyles Scholarship

In 2005, Harold and Leona Boyles left money to Chapter 338 of the Experimental Aircraft Association to establish a scholarship to help young people learn to fly airplanes.  Based at Reid-Hillview Airport in San Jose, EAA 338 is focused on homebuilt aircraft construction We are also excited to contribute to education by the administration of this scholarship.

The basics: 

  • Ages 22 and younger
  • Must currently be receiving flight training
  • Up to $2000
  • Available to reimburse flight training costs (directly to the training provider), toward any aircraft rating
  • Written application and attendance at one chapter meeting to apply
