Greetings from EAA chapter 25!
No matter if you are an experienced, long-time member of EAA, or if you are a novice, or non-pilot, simply interested in learning more about aviation, EAA, and, more locally, a local EAA chapter, is a great place to be!
EAA chapter 25 has been in existence for more than 60 years. Started in the basement of our first president's (Bert Sisler's) house in 1956, we are now approximately 125 members with varied backgrounds and levels of aviation experience, from beginner to retired airline/military pilot. We have active airplane build projects amongst our members, we sponsor a monthly Young Eagles event for students between ages 8-17, and we have monthly meetings with guest speakers sharing their expertise on many facets of aviation.
EAA chapter 25 annually sponsors college scholarships at two of the Midwest's premier aviation programs, those at University of Minnesota-Mankato, and the University of North Dakota. We have recently added a Father's Day Pancake Breakfast to our slate of annual activities.
Consider this your personal invitation from me to visit us on one of our meetings, the third Wednesday of the month, at our chapter hangar, the end of Hotel/India Lane, Lakeville (MN) Airlake Airport, KLVN. We offer food (brats, beans, and potato salad, free, for guests!) at 630pm, meeting and guest speaker starts at 700pm.
Please email me (address, below) if you have any questions, and put "EAA Chapter 25 Inquiry" in the subject line; I will get back to you. Thank you.
I look forward to meeting you.
