Jayden is the current recipient of the EAA Chapter 228 James C. Ray Scholarship valued at $10,000 for flight training.
When Jayden was 8, he attended his first airshow; the Blue Angels and that fueled his desire to learn to fly. Since then, his attention has shifted to commercial aviation. He has built and flown several RC planes. When he was in high school, he joined JROTC to learn about Air Force aviation. During his junior year in high school, he attended the EVIT Aviation program where he learned systems for pilots and aviation maintenance. During his senior year, he joined Explorers Aviation Post 352 and that is where he is currently flying with volunteer CFI’s.
With the James C. Ray Scholarship, he will be able to save some money from his part time job for college.
