Chapter 190

Huntsville AL 3M5 Moontown Airport

Welcome to our chapter

Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our Chapter.

We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so.  We have several members actively building airplanes, but you don't need to build an airplane to participate.  We welcome anyone who is an aviation enthusiast.

Please come to our next meeting or event as our guest.  We meet every Second Tuesday at 6:00 pm.  We usually meet in the Moontown Airport FBO building, or the EAA 190 project hangar, located in the southwest portion of the airport.

Every 3rd Saturday we host a Fly In and Pancake Breakfast at 3M5 Moontown at 8:00 am which benefits the Buckhorn High School Band.  Young Eagles flights are offered from 8:30am to 10:00 am, weather, equipment and staff permitting.  For more information about EAA190 Young eagles, contact youngeagles.eaa190@gmail.com.

Moontown Airport is located at 200 Airport Dr., Brownsboro AL 35758.
