EAA’s local chapters are about people, bringing together individuals interested in learning more about aviation as well as sharing their own knowledge.
Chapter members are involved in a variety of social and educational activities, including Young Eagles rallies, fly-ins, building seminars, and more, to build awareness in the community.
Both Clintonville and Shawano are connected in close proximity to the mighty Wolf River, which inspired the design of our chapter logo.
EAA Chapter 1710 was established in 2024. Born out of the desires of aviation enthusiasts in and around the Clintonville and Shawano communities, and through collaboration between Shawano Airport (KEZS) and Clintonville Airport (KCLI) managers. Chapter 1710 was off to a running start and quickly grew into a thriving and active group of 40+ members.
Our two communities have deep roots in aviation, with both airports dating back to the 1940's.
