Chapter 1702

Moline, IL

Chapter Fundraising

As a 501c3 Public Charity and Non-Profit, EAA 1702 is able to receive tax deductible donations from individuals and business.

What are we raising money for?  Well, one of the primary reasons EAA 1702 was founded was to provide more aviation scholarship opportunities for youth in the Quad Cities.  The Ray Foundation, through EAA, offers an $12,000 flight training scholarship annually for local chapters to administer.  If chapters can raise 25% of the total ($3,000) the Ray Foundation will match the remaining 75%.  If chapters choose the matching scholarship option, they can get up to TWO scholarships to administer each year.  So that's our goal...$6000 for two flight training scholarships that we will administer in 2025.  We have to raise the money by December 2024 in order to apply for the matching scholarship.  Will you commit to helping us meet our goal?

Email chapter@eaa1702.org if you would like to donate and invest in our education and scholarship programs.

Birdies for Charity has started!!!  Please consider donating to the chapter via Birdies.  For every donation, John Deere contributes a bonus based upon participation.  This increases your donation without you having to do anything.  Money contributed during Birdies will allow us to provide more scholarships in our area!  Please be as generous as your means allow.  Birdies Donation Link - Birdies #2414
