EAA’s local chapters are about people, bringing together individuals interested in learning more about aviation as well as sharing their own knowledge.
EAA Chapter 1632 is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 organization.
EAA1632's focus for Lake County Schools Aviation Academy and Umatilla High School Aviation Club is threefold:
- to mentor the youth in building a light-sport RV 12 aircraft.
- to take them through a FAA approved ground school
- to introduce them to practical flying through an FAA certified simulator and the EAA Young Eagles Program
