About Us

Our members build and/or fly a variety of different aircraft - ultralights, experimental amateur-built, experimental light sport, special light sport, standard category production aircraft, and even warbirds. If you’re a pilot, airplane builder, or just like airplanes, you’re invited to join us!

Our Purpose:

  • Promote and encourage the educational and scientific aspects of amateur built aircraft and recreational aviation,
  • Promote general aviation safety and safety in the design, construction and operation of aircraft through educational and other services or programs in cooperation with governmental agencies and private organizations,
  • Promote and foster research for the improvement and better understanding of aviation and the science of aeronautics with the assistance and support of individuals and communities of aviation education and safety,
  • Support and promote the mission, vision, goals and objectives of the Experimental Aircraft Association through programs and services within the Chapter family.
