YOUTH FLY FOR FREE WITH YOUNG EAGLES
Below is an explanation of our program. The highly successful event was completed August 5, 2023 at the Bend airport with several YE flyers taking to the skies! See the August newsletter section on this site for details.
Chapter 1345 will host a Young Eagles rally on Saturday August 5, 2023 from 8-noon.
What is Young Eagles? It is the EAA program started in 1992 to give interested youth 8-17 the opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. The volunteers who participate in the Young Eagles program are local members of the EAA chapter who are volunteering their time and aircraft to make this youth flight possible. Here's what you need to do if you are interested in flying with us on Saturday August 5th:

Once the rally is posted here and on www.YEDay.com there will be specific times to do the free, mandatory on-line registration by the parent of a Young Eagle at the www.YEDay.com website

The YE parent will then receive by email confirmation of the registration and reservation

Three days before the rally the parent will be receive by email a request to confirm their reservation
