Al Corey EAA Chapter 1303 Memorial Wall
The Memorial Wall pays tribute to and honors the men and women who have unselfishly given of themselves to help make the DuPont Lapeer Airport one of the finest airports in Michigan.
The project was conceived in 2011 and completed in 2013 by the dedicated members of EAA Chapter 1303, along with the support of Mayfield Township and the Airport Board, with private donations paying for the construction and maintenance.
The names of the individuals who are honored at the “Wall” will be inscribed in the stone pathway at the Memorial and their stories included in the DuPont Lapeer Airport Memorial Wall Registry.
There is no charge for inclusion in the Memorial; however, donations to help maintain the tribute are gratefully accepted.
Any individual wishing to have a person’s name added to the memorial wall stone pathway, must fill out the following form with a brief description or statement of why they feel the person should be included, attach a picture if desired and/or available.
Submissions for “living” persons can be made.
Those submissions will be put in a file called To Be Considered.
All submissions will be reviewed by the Al Corey EAA Chapter officers before approval.
