Hello everyone,
Thank you to every pilot and ground volunteer who helped make Saturday’s Young Eagles rally a success. We had great weather, a safe day of flying, and the opportunity to fly 28 kids—many of them for the first time.
Ana and I think this was our best rally yet. It was such an enjoyable day, thanks to your willingness to help, positive attitudes, generosity, and sense of humor. You showed the spirit and citizenship of aviation at its best.
A special thank-you to those who traveled from other areas and EAA chapters to help us. We also want to thank John and Janette Carlile for welcoming us to their hangar and helping make the event possible.
Whether you were flying, setting up, checking in families, escorting, taking pictures, keeping us going with coffee and snacks, or helping behind the scenes, you made the day memorable for these young people.
We welcome any feedback or ideas that could help us make future rallies even better.
