One of the major goals of Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 113 is to pass along the love of aviation to future generations. Many of our events throughout the year serve as fundraisers which allow us to offer scholarships to local students pursuing a career in Aviation or Flight Training, as well as young people that are interested in attending one of the summer sessions of EAA's Air Academy in Oshkosh, WI.
The 2026 Scholarship application is available HERE.
Ray Scholarship Application
The EAA Ray Aviation Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship program that is funded by the Ray Foundation, managed by EAA, and administered through the EAA Chapters network. Through the generous support of the Ray Foundation, EAA provides up to $12,000 to deserving youths to help cover their flight training expenses.
Opportunities within the Ray Scholarship program include awards for:

EAA Chapter 113 has applied to sponsor a Ray scholar for 2026 and should learn if we have been approved sometime in January. Once we have been authorized to proceed, we will post our application for students to complete. Look for it here soon!
