Zenith Aircraft Company will host a two‑day, hands‑on kit‑building workshop at Livingston County Airport (KOZW), about 55 miles west of Detroit, on October 10–11, 2025.
Each participant will build and assemble a Zenith kit rudder tail section under the guidance of factory staff, learning to read blueprints, drill holes and blind‑rivet parts.
The event is organized by Zenith builder and pilot Steve Aupperle of EAA Chapter 1056, with support from Martina and Oliver Reik of Midwest Flying Machines.
On Saturday, Zenith will host an informal fly‑in for aircraft owners and enthusiasts; camper/RV parking is available on request. Company
staff will drive the Zenith cargo van to Michigan, delivering kits and parts en route.
Workshop fees are $375 or $425 for the CH 750 Super Duty model and include the complete rudder kit. Space is limited and prior registration is required.
For details and registration, visit the website or call Zenith Aircraft at 573‑581‑9000 (Mon–Fri, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Central). Zenith also offers monthly workshops at its factory in central Missouri.
