"BearFoot" Billy Waters
July 5th, 1954 - June 13th, 2023
Our beloved friend and fellow aviator Billy Waters departed this life for the next on June 13th, 2023. Billy's untimely departure has left a void in our hearts that will be difficult to fill. Billy was an exceptional individual who touched the lives of many within our chapter and beyond. As a long-time member of EAA, he was an integral part of our aviation community. His passion for aviation was contagious, and his presence at the airport always brought a smile to our faces.
Billy was a warm and caring individual who cherished his family and friends. He had an innate ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued. Whether you knew him for years or had just met him, Billy had a way of brightening your day with his infectious enthusiasm and genuine kindness.
Until the end of time, EAA Chapter 1025 will hereinafter be known as "The Billy Waters Chapter"
