Romeo Vadnais
A true friend to EAA 908, a great mechanic, always wanting to help, Rome will be missed by all.
Rome could often be found nearly every morning if there was a plane in the maintenance hangar. He was always helpful digging out a tool or piece of equipment he had stored if you needed it. He was a wealth of knowledge being an A&P and IA during his working life. He also served in the military.
Richard R Creighton - January 14,1929—January 23, 2022
A genuine gentleman, Great aviator, True friend and who will be missed by all who knew him.
Richard learned how to fly before he learned how to drive, and after a life in the military driving a truck, went on to fly helicopters over Chicago and performing pipeline surveys. With his son aboard was said to have chased deer and bears while in the chopper out on a survey, having the skill to almost put a skid on a deer's back while giving chase. Having given up flying long ago Richard came weekly to our chapter club house and enjoyed the fellowship of fellow pilots until just recently.
On April 16, 2022 we dedicated our Chapter 908 clubhouse to him.
