IAC Chapter 88 Practice / Patch Days are scheduled every month during the general flying season
The Chapter has obtained a 3 year Long Term Aerobatic Practice Area (LT_APA) Certificate of Waiver for Romeo State Airport - D98.
The following Practice Days are scheduled:

September 21, 2024
October 19, 2024
Starting Time: 10:00- End Time: 16:00
All participating pilots must be IAC members as the organizers have put Practice Day insurance in place and must obtain a pilot briefing and undergo a tech inspection and document check prior to flying in the designated waivered airspace.

Past Chapter 88 Practice Day - June 20, 2020
Members attended: Wayne Buescher (Staudacher S600F), Jason Ledbetter (Bücker JUngmann) and Hugo Ritzenthaler (Staudacher Pitts S1E)
Jason flew for his Intermediate SMOOTH Patch and received the award. Congratulations, Jason. Although, a low turn out, we had a good practice session. A pilot briefing and a document check preceded the practice flying and flight critiquing.
