Chapter 968, Green Mountain Flyers

Rutland Airport, VT

What we are planning to do.

Welcome to The Green Mountain Flyers

Whether you fly, build, restore, or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, we invite you to attend our events and chapter meetings. We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together to share stories, exchange information, encourage safety, and serve the local aviation community, and have as much fun as we can doing so. Please join us at our next event or meeting.

Our March meeting was very informative.

Jim Malecha, of New England Soaring Association, presented a thorough description of what they offer for individuals and families.

NESA, operates out of KVSF, Hartness Airport, Springfield, VT.

This talk covers the stories behind some of the most famous aviation photographs of World War II.

This event will be held in the Rutland Civil Air Patrol building, on the airport, details as we get closer.

(This event is RSVP required, owing to space limitations and the chapter's need need to pre-plan food.)

Both of these fly-ins will have longer hours allowing for moody morning weather.
