EAA CHAPTER 775 GATHERING AUGUST 24, 2026
WELCOME by Bill Holland, Chapter President. 17 members present.
OSHKOSH Follow-up stories/experiences were shared by those in attendance who went to Air Venture 2026 in July. Let it be noted that ALL seemed to enjoy the event and looking forward to 2027.
Upcoming EAA event on October 31, 2026 includes Young Eagle flights in the morning from 9 am to 1130 am. TREATS on the TARMAC from 1 pm to 3pm. There was discussion about the Young Eagle Pilots that are planning to participate in this rally. Details will be firmed up at the October gathering which occurs before the October 31 date. The YE DAY will be posted in the EAA website about mid- September so participants can begin to preregister.
The afternoon Treats on the Tarmac will be open to the public to walk around the ramp and visit with pilots who will park their planes on the ramp. Pilots/owners will provide treats for the youngsters. Details will be discussed again at the October gathering.
EAA members are welcome to come and enjoy Crosswind Classics event to be held August 29, 2026 at Baxter County Airport. This event is not EAA sponsored, but volunteers who want to help are welcome. Some activities will include a POKER RUN for aircraft, car show, variety of vendors, food trucks, and more.
