SUMMARY OF GATHERING EVENT

Bill Holland introduced the current officers:  Bill Holland, President       Ralph Hoetger, Vice-president    Steve Johnson, Treasurer    Sharon Holland, Secretary

Update on the Status of Chapter 775 presented by Bill Holland:

            Current funds in bank account

            IRS Status as a 501(c)(3) was terminated in 2013 due to organization failure to file 990N return for 3 consecutive years.

Ralph Hoetger passed around Chapter 775 logo suggestion for discussion from those in attendance. This will continue to be discussed at future time.

Bill Holland displayed EAA Chapter name tags for those who wish to purchase one. Free temporary name tags are available upon request.

A video was viewed from EAA on Young Eagle Flights and Eagle Flights. 

2026 Event Discussion included:

            Young Eagle Rally, possibly June 13 on National Young Eagle Day

            Coffee and Donuts Fly in at KBPK

            Flying Start – Learn to Fly program for adults

            Chapter 775 social events such as evening cookout, movie night, Fly Outs

National Event – 2026 Air Venture at Oshkosh         much interest from group and some discussion will continue to discuss later this year

2027 possible event considerations:

            Host EAA Ford Trimotor                      Host EAA Regional Management seminar

Ralph Hoetger presented a brief report on his attendance at Buckeye Air Fare 2026

Cody Cline reported on the status of a plan to form a Flying Club at KBPK. More information will be forthcoming in the future.
