EAA CHAPTER 775 EXECUTIVE BOARD SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

Date: January 16, 2026          
Time: 11:00am                       
Location: Conference Call

Call to order at 1100.  Officers present: Bill Holland, Ralph Hoetger, Steve Johnson, Sharon Holland.

1. New Business
   1. Approval of Chapter 775 meeting location, day, and time. This proposal has been presented to Airport Management and Commission for their agreement.

      Proposed meeting date – 4^th Monday of each month

      Proposed place – Terminal Building at Baxter County Airport

      Proposed time – 7:00 pm

      Motion by Ralph Hoetger, second by Steve Johnson to accept proposed location, date, time as above. No further discussion offered. Motion passed, no opposed.

   2. Discussion on mailing address and chapter email address. Airport Manager has agreed that EAA 775 can have a mailing address for chapter mail to be delivered to Airport Terminal Business offices at Baxter County Airport.All members present were agreeable with establishment of this permanent address for the Chapter.

      A contact email address will also be set up for the chapter with Gmail rather than utilizing officer(s) personal email for chapter business/contact. This will be set up in the next couple of months.   

2. Other Business
   1. Roller Fly In 2026

      Discussion regarding plans for 2026 Roller Fly In insurance and sponsorship with EAA 775. A post event debrief was conducted in the fall of 2025. Bill Holland and Ralph Hoetger were present for that debrief and Jim Baker, who represented the ultralight group. After today’s discussion involving the board members, Ralph Hoetger made a motion to stop sponsorship/insurance of this event by EAA 775. Motion seconded by Sharon Holland. All board members voted in favor of the motion, none opposed.

      A motion was made by Ralph Hoetger, seconded by Steve Johnson to notify Mike and Diana Roller, as well as Jim Baker of the board’s decision regarding the 2026 event. This motion passed with no opposition.
