Chapter Announcements [March 26, 2024]

• Chapter Gatherings:  In addition to our monthly 1st Saturday Coffee & Donuts social event, our chapter will host membership gatherings every 4th Saturday, 8:30am at Revv Aviation, Davenport Airport.  March 30th program includes Ron Plante presenting on the topic of abandoned & little known airfields.
• Special Election for Secretary:  The Board of Directors has called a Special Election to be held in accordance with Article X of the bylaws during the upcoming Chapter Gathering that will take place at Revv Aviation, 9230 N. Harrison St, Davenport, IA 52806 on March 30, 2024.  The position will run until January 1, 2025 to fill the unexpired part of the Secretary's term.  If any chapter member would like to fill the vacant Secretary position please contact Nominating Committee Leader Craig Olson, Carl Brown, or Jim Smith.  If no more candidates are identified, we will have our special election with just one name on the ballot, per Article X of the bylaws.
• Chapter Needs:  We are looking for members who are interested in leading and assisting with social coordination.  We are quickly approaching our summer potluck season (June - August).  Our chapter board approved a budget for those events, but we need someone to do the coordination for location, hosts, volunteers, and advertising of these wonderful events.  If you are interested in helping to organize one or all of these potlucks, please email chapter.board@eaa75.org and/or attend our next Chapter Business Meeting on April 10th at 5:30pm at Revv Aviation Davenport.  
• The chapter board members are always interested in your feedback.   If there is something you'd like to see or do in 2024, please email chapter.board@eaa75.org with your suggestions.

Upcoming Chapter Events:

Every Wednesday from 3pm to 5pm, the 1500 Club meets at Revv Aviation's conference room, 9230 N. Harrison St. Davenport, IA 52806. This event is open to all who wants to catch up and socialize with fellow members, pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
