EAA’s local chapters are about people, bringing together individuals interested in learning more about aviation as well as sharing their own knowledge.
Chapter members are involved in a variety of social and educational activities, including Young Eagles rallies, fly-ins, building seminars, Ray Aviation Scholarship, and more, to build awareness in the community.
EAA Chapter 706 is based at Alexander Field (KISW), South Wood County Airport, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Everyone is welcome to attend, pilots, and anyone interested in aviation. We often have interesting speakers, snacks and always a lively discussion.
Currently EAA Chapter 706 is holding hybrid monthly chapter meetings on Zoom and in person to comply with COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. Masks are encouraged but not required.
